The Author

     My name is Dev Madhavan, and I am the author of The X-Men X-plained. I love the X-Men so much and my mind is basically an encyclopedia of the X-Universe. It all started when my brother once got a game about Marvel superheroes, including the X-Men. I really enjoyed playing, which surprised me, since I didn't have any love of superheroes before that. Then, I was introduced to Phoenix (Jean Grey) of the X-Men, and it was "love at first sight". I instantly became captivated by Jean Grey and the concept of the Phoenix Force, and through my love of the Phoenix came my love of the X-Men. Then I watched the X-Men movies and kind of liked it. Then, I decided, just for fun, to research all the characters and teams and everything about the X-Men from the comics. I found out that I loved the comics way more than the movies, and the more I loved the comics, the more I disliked all Marvel-related movies for their terrible interpretations. Whenever I was confused about something rom the X-Men, I would look it up and my knowledge of the X-Men Universe and the Marvel Universe became to expand at an insane rate.

     Due to my love of the Phoenix, the first X-Men book that I got was the Dark Phoenix Saga. Then I got the Avengers vs X-Men story as well as "Phoenix Resurrection". I loved x-plaining confusing characters and concepts from the X-Men to my little brother, who has grown to love them almost as much as me. One day, I had a brilliant idea to create a blog where I x-plain everything X-Men related.
